Product Introduction Stachyose, a valuable prebiotic, is mainly extracted from plants such as Eupatorium and Stachys sieboldii; modern industrial production has developed several mature processes. Hot-water extraction is the basic method: the plant material is crushed and extracted in warm water at 60–80°C for 2–3 hours, with the extraction rate optimised by pH adjustment.
