Product Introduction Nuciferine is an aporphine-type alkaloid extracted from the dried leaves of the lotus (Nelumbo nucifera, Nymphaeaceae); it is the main lipid-lowering active component of lotus leaves. The dried and pulverised lotus leaves are processed by cellulase pretreatment, dilute hydrochloric acid extraction, ultrasound-assisted extraction and chloroform extraction.
